In alignment with our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), we also offer special pricing options designed to be inclusive and accessible to everyone.

  • Yes, therapists follow strict confidentiality rules, except in cases of harm to self or others.

  • Many insurance plans cover therapy, but coverage varies by provider and therapist. Visit our financial support page to see if you qualify for any insurances.

  • We have 4 licensed therapists at The Lighthouse Institute. Make sure to read their bios and focus areas, and select which one fits your need best. We offer a free 15 minute consultation, so you can see if it’s a good fit for you!

  • Psychotherapist:
    Psychotherapists come from various backgrounds such as psychology, social work, or counseling. They provide talk therapy to help you manage emotional distress, personal issues, and relationship challenges.

    Psychologist:
    Psychologists hold a Master's or PhD in psychology and specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders using various forms of therapy. They are ideal if you need psychological testing, therapy, or guidance for mental health issues.

    Psychiatrist:
    Psychiatrists are medical doctors (MDs) who specialize in diagnosing and treating mental disorders. With the authority to prescribe medication, they are best suited for managing severe conditions such as schizophrenia or major depressive disorders requiring medical intervention.
